    In der letzten Podcast-Folge dieses Jahres wird es mythisch und märchenhaft. Geschichten treffen auf Historisches im russischen Spätmittelalter. Und im Mittelpunkt dieses großen Familien-Epos steht die junge Wasja, die den Charme des weihnachtlichen Aschenbrödels hat und dazu sogar noch mehr Mut — und das zweite Gesicht.

    Es geht um die ersten beiden Bände der Winter-Trilogie von Katherine Arden: „Der Bär und die Nachtigall“ und
    „Das Mädchen und der Winterkönig“. Der dritte Band wird hoffentlich 2021 auf Deutsch erscheinen.

    Ein großer Winter-Abenteuer-Lesespaß. Und weil es dunkel und kalt ist, lese ich euch das Märchen von Morosko, dem Winterdämon, vor, das der klassische Ausgangspunkt für diese Trilogie ist, die alles andere als eine klassische Geschichte erzählt.

    „Der Bär und die Nachtigall“ und das „Das Mädchen und der Winterkönig“ von
    Katherine Arden sind beide als Paperback bei Heyne erschienen und kosten
    jeweils 16,99 €. Michael Pfingstl hat die 430 bzw. 480 Seiten wunderbar aus dem
    Amerikanischen ersetzt.

    „Verlangen“ heißt das Buch der niederländischen Autorin Bregje
    Hofstede. Und ich glaube, es ist das erste Mal, dass ich bei einem Roman gedacht habe: An diesem Buch stimmt alles! Hört einfach mal in die Episode rein!

    „Verlangen“ von Bregje Hofstede ist als Hardcover bei Oktaven erschienen und
    kostet 24 €. Christiane Burkhardt hat die 431 Seiten aus dem Niederländischen
    übersetzt.

    Außerdem möchte ich euch noch auf zwei weitere Bücher hinweisen. Im Frühjahr ist von Hofstede ein Essay zum Thema Burn-out erschienen: „Die Wiederentdeckung des Körpers“, Oktaven, 18 €.

    Weil es im Buch eine große Rolle spielt, dass wenig Mitleid zu erwarten ist, wenn man eine Beziehung verlässt, obwohl auch das sehr schmerzhaft sein kann, möchte ich euch noch auf das Buch der norwegischen Paartherapeutin Sissel Gran hinweisen, die sich genau mit dieser Perspektive auseinandersetzt: „Ich verlasse Dich, weil ich leben will“, Herder Verlag, 24 €.
